It feels like a true Monday! Since I worked six weeks “as a nurse” I’ve had an atypical schedule working weekends and then have been on break for a couple weeks so I never really know what day of the week it is. Finally, today feels like I’m getting back into a structured rhythm since we are officially starting the Master’s portion of this program which feels super exciting! We are now actually in school not to become nurses, but to become Nurse Practitioners. Cheers to that.
There was some technical difficulties with the blog this weekend which is why it went down. A huge headache but things are back up and running! I had originally recorded this video last Wednesday with plans of getting it posted Friday but that definitely didn’t happen with the move and the blog going down so I’m posting it today. Better late than never right?
What a weekend though- I moved from Harlem downtown near Union Square which has been such an adjustment in such a good way! Now my commute up to Columbia is much longer, but the rest of my life is downtown and it feels so good to be near church, my closest friends and to be able to walk anywhere. It’s been a crazy few days, actually few months, and while it’s been an exciting few months I’m very much looking forward to settling into a rhythm again.
So to kick off the week, we’re talking about raw diets, alcohol, and marathon nutrition in today’s video.
